I’m off out shortly and I’ve got to say that it seems odd to me to not care about this game but continually post and tell the rest of us you’re beyond caring.
As for the unbounded pessimism of the likes of Sir Alf it strikes me as being a mental stance to ward off possible disappointment following a defeat.
This afternoon, almost for the first time at a game, I will be concerned about how we as a crowd of supporters react. Will we get behind the team and will we keep off the pitch ( the ramifications to the club will be devastating if the Burnley scenario is repeated ).

1-1 which won't be the disaster the queens on here will make it out to be. We need one point more than Huddersfield get over the next 8 games as they are the ones going down with Brom and Stoke. I think we will get 37 points and stay up by 3 points.

In fairness to Moyes he has to be consistent with players. Sometimes a player makes a bad mistake but to drop him for that one mistake could shatter his confidence. Then the player that replaces him gets an injury....

I hope Hart has a good game, he just looks so nervous and that probably does not help the rest of the team especially those in front of him.

Brain-dead decision to start Hart. It really is.
His horrendous mistake against Burnley for their third goal, on top of so many other errors whilst playing for us, should've meant that game was his last for us.
His career is finished. Well, in the big time it is.
